Xinghui Sun, Ph.D.
Principal investigator (2016 - )
Email: xsun17@unl.edu
Xinghui Sun is a dedicated researcher with strong expertise in vascular biology. Dr. Sun leads our team in groundbreaking research projects with a strong background in molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry, mouse models of human chronic metabolic diseases such as fatty liver disease and atherosclerosis, and next-generation sequencing data analysis.
Fatema Yeasmin Tanni
Graduate student (2022 - )
Email: ftanni2@huskers.unl.edu
Her research project focuses on the role of MORF4L1 in regulating inflammatory and immune response in the vascular endothelium. She is also significantly involved in revealing how protein neddylation regulates cell death and vascular integrity.
Rachelle Nelson
Graduate student (2022 - )
Email: rnelson65@huskers.unl.edu
Her research project focuses on the role of protein neddylation in the vascular endothelium. She aims to determine the mechanisms by which protein neddylation upholds endothelial cell identity and constrains endothelial cell death.
